We're Hiring A Video Editor! 🎥

We are looking to hire an experienced video editor for our YouTube channel, Badminton Insight.

Why?

We are currently training full-time as professional players and combining this with trying to create an in-depth, valuable and entertaining video each week is extremely time-consuming! We are therefore looking to hire an editor to not only free up some of our time, but also increase the quality and production value of our weekly videos!

Whilst we do enjoy the process of editing our YouTube videos, we feel our time can be better spent producing more content to help grow the sport of badminton – our ultimate aim.

Here is an example of one of our videos:

This is a paid position, starting out on a freelance basis. You will be editing 1 video per week, and you will typically receive the raw footage 12 days before the video is due to go live. However there is definitely a possibility of this becoming a full-time role and joining the Badminton Insight team!

To be considered, you need experience with:

  1. Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro
  2. Cutting footage with an understanding of pacing and good timing
  3. Basic color grading ability
  4. Basic audio skills (placing sound effects and background music)
  5. Animation experience (keyframing, masking, shape layers)

Whilst not essential, a huge bonus is also if you have knowledge about badminton and sports editing.

If you think you’re a great fit for this position, fill out the short form below! Or, if you know someone who would be a great fit, feel free to send them this page.

We are looking to hire for this position quickly. So while we’re not closing this until 22nd July 2022, we’ll be evaluating applications as soon as we receive them.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch: contact@badminton-insight.com

Thanks and we’ll be in touch soon!
